Hiding the AIOSEO Admin Bar Menu

You may have noticed that All in One SEO displays an SEO menu item on the Admin Bar at the top of the screen in WordPress that has links to all our settings and to useful tools. This Admin Bar menu is only visible to Administrators.

However, if you want to remove this menu item for all Administrator users on your site.

Removing the AIOSEO Admin Bar Menu

To remove the AIOSEO Admin Bar menu, click on General Settings in the All in One SEO menu and then click on the Advanced tab.

You’ll see a setting for Admin Bar Menu that’s set to Show.

To remove the SEO menu from the Admin Bar, change this setting to Hide.

However, you want to remove this menu item for all Administrator users on your site.

You can remove it by going to All in One SEO » General Settings » Display Settings.

Here you'll see a setting for Display Menu in Toolbar and the checkbox will be checked.

Uncheck the box to remove the SEO menu from the Admin Bar.
